- Candle Making 101: Paraffin is excellent for any candle application, melt in double boiler (preferred), pour into container with centered cotton or wood wick. Add fragrance or Dyes - Makes great scented candles, create your candle kit,. Like any pure paraffin wax, this wax will tend to shrink when cooled, you might have to re pour .
- Versatility: Our paraffin wax is sold by weight. While packaged in slabs, the size and thickness of each slab may vary. Depending on how you use it, you can have different types of finishes to your candles, for example: mottling, rustic, or smooth looks. Please refer to our instruction videos to learn how to make more! THIS WAX IS NOT FOR SPA USES BECAUSE OF ITS HIGHER MELTPOINT.
- Our Expert's Recommendation: This wax will work great in any candle. Natural mottle can be amplified by adding dyes or fragrance. For higher fragrance loads, blend this wax 50/50 with Soy Wax or add a polymer additive, micro wax, or a bit of beeswax. For wax melts or tarts, we suggest mixing with Soy or Coco blend. Wax is transparent when liquid.

- FOR SAFE USE: Always melt wax using a double boiler and avoid overheating. Never leave wax unattended and never add water. Standard water-based fire extinguishers are not suitable for wax or oil fires. In case of fire, always use a Class B extinguisher (foam, CO₂, or dry chemical), which is specifically designed for flammable liquids. Following these precautions ensures safe and effective candle-making.
